About Attorney Carol Kirk

Attorney Carol Kirk has been serving as an attorney in West Texas for over 30 years. She attended Texas Tech School of Law and then started her career as a briefing attorney for the Eleventh Court of Appeals in Eastland, TX. In fact, she was the first female briefing attorney in the court’s history!


In 1983, she started in private practice for a firm in Midland specializing in family law. Her passion for providing dedicated representation to those with family law concerns and those accused of crimes inspired her to form her own firm. She and her husband, Paul Williams, established Kirk & Williams: Attorneys at Law in 1984. They focus on cases relating to the following: 

  • Divorce
  • Child Custody
  • DUI/DWI
  • Drug Related Offenses
  • Domestic Violence

In addition to being a licensed attorney in the State of Texas, Carol has also been certified by the National Mediation Academy as an arbitrator in all areas of law and as a mediator in the areas of family, civil, and commercial law.


Throughout her time in the Permian Basin, Carol has remained an active member of the community and has served as:


  • A member of Program Services Board of the March of Dimes
  • A member of the Board of Directors for the Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP)
  • Director of the Legal Assistants Program at Odessa College
